Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Norton Bluejays (Norton, KS) and the host Cambridge Trojans (Cambridge, NE), saw Norton's basketball squad overcome Cambridge by a tally of 53-36.

With the victory, Norton improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Stockton (Stockton, KS) to play the Tigers in a Mid-Continent challenge on Thursday, January 9. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Stockton won 61-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Golden Plains (Rexford, KS)

Next up, the Trojans play the Southwest Roughriders (Bartley, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 10. Cambridge will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Roughriders come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 65-30 non-league loss to Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE).
