In Friday's league match, the host West Brunswick Trojans basketball team scored a good 67-55 triumph over the Ashley Screaming Eagle.

In their next game, the Trojans meet the Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 20. West Brunswick will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record.

With the defeat, Ashley moves to 3-2 on the year. The Screaming eagle host Hoggard (Wilmington, NC) to meet the Vikings in a Mideastern 3A/4A match on Tuesday, December 17.
