February 7, 2020: Norfork, AR 72658 In Friday's non-league outing, the Norfork Panthers (Norfork, AR) basketball team were winner over the visiting Bakersfield Lions (Bakersfield, MO), by a score of 71-58.
The Panthers now sport a 14-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Concord for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 11. Norfork will battle a Pirates team coming off a 53-48 league win over Shirley (Shirley, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 24-2.
The Lions (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Alton (Alton, MO). The Comets go into the non-league outing with a 14-10 record. In their last outing, Alton was beaten by Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL), 59-56, in a league outing.
