Texas High School Basketball - La Marque nips Sharpstown

La Marque Cougars (La Marque, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sharpstown Apollos (Houston, TX), 60-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, La Marque upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cougars host Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 26. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Fort Bend Elkins lost 69-55 in their recent non-league bout against Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX)

Next up, the Apollos play the Wheatley Wildcats (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 29. Sharpstown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
