In Monday's non-league outing, the host Crest Chargers softball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Chase Trojans.

Coming up next, the Chargers battle the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a 3A Big South outing, on Tuesday, May 1. Crest will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Mountaineers enter the outing with a 7-5 record after their 13-5 league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC).
