Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Big Blacks confront the Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 22. Point Pleasant will attempt to move on its 9-0 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to Cabell Midland (Ona, WV).

The Wildcats now possess a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Sissonville for a Cardinal challenge on Thursday, September 22. Nitro will confront a Indians team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV). The Indians record now stands at 6-5.
