The Enka Jets football team (Enka, NC), was ripped 44-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host McDowell Titans (Marion, NC)

The Titans (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Asheville (Asheville, NC). The Cougars come into the Mountain Athletic 3A/4A challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Asheville was ripped by T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC), 41-13, in a league challenge.

The Jets now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host North Buncombe for a Mountain Athletic 3A/4A challenge on Friday, October 13. Enka will meet a Black Hawks team coming off a 38-36 league loss to McDowell (Marion, NC). The Black Hawks record now stands at 3-4.
