The Cushing Tigers thwarted the host Berryhill Chiefs football team by a count of 42-21 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Cushing upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Tigers host Miami (Miami, OK) to encounter the Wardogs in a 4A District 3 outing on Friday, September 22. The Wardogs go into the outing with a record of 2-1.

With the loss, Berryhill moves to 1-2 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Lincoln Christian (Tulsa, OK) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 3A District 3 outing on Friday, September 22. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 4-0. Lincoln Christian won 20-14 in their recent non-league outing against Shiloh Christian (Springdale, AR)
