Kentucky High School Football - Bell County nips Whitley County

September 15, 2023: Williamsburg, KY 40769

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Bell County Bobcats football squad scored a close 48-42 victory over the Whitley County Colonels.

In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the McCreary Central Raiders (Stearns, KY) in a 3A District 7 match, on Friday, September 22. Bell County will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 0-4 record after their 34-6 non-league loss to Casey County (Liberty, KY).

The Colonels (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Scott (Huntsville, TN). The Highlanders enter the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Scott was nudged by Roane County (Kingston, TN), 39-0, in a league match.
