The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Riverside Panthers (Decaturville, TN) and the visiting Jackson Central Merry Cougars (Jackson, TN), witnessed Riverside's football squad crush Jackson Central Merry by a margin of 49-6.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Milan Bulldogs (Milan, TN) in a 2A Region 6 match, on Friday, October 27. Riverside will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 8-1 record after their 48-6 league win over Peabody (Trenton, TN).

The Cougars (1-9) will now prepare for their match against Gibson County (Dyer, TN). The Pioneers enter the 2A Region 6 match with a 1-8 record. In their last match, Gibson County was crushed by Adamsville (Adamsville, TN), 41-6, in a league match.
