In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Cardinal Ritter College Prep Lions football squad scored a big 52-6 victory over the McCluer Comets.

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Vashon/Miller Career Academy Wolverine (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 1. Cardinal Ritter College Prep will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
