In Friday's non-league game, the Liberty Red Devils (Liberty, SC) football team knocked off the host Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC), by a final score of 41-19.

The Red Devils (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Eastside (Taylors, SC). The Eagles come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Eastside was dropped by Pendleton (Pendleton, SC), 53-29, in a non-league game.

The Fighting Tigers now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Greer for a non-league game on Friday, September 1. Blue Ridge will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 41-20 non-league loss to Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 0-2.
