September 29, 2023: Elizabethton, TN 37643 In Friday's non-league match, the host Happy Valley Warriors football squad scored a big 40-6 victory over the Hancock County Indians.
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the South Greene Rebels (Greeneville, TN) in a 2A Region 1 match, on Friday, October 6. Happy Valley will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Rebels enter the match with a 6-0 record after their 35-25 non-league win over Seymour (Seymour, TN).
The Indians (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Unaka (Elizabethton, TN). The Rangers enter the 1A Region 1 match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Unaka was crushed by Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA), 44-26, in a non-league match.
