The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Stoneham Spartans (Stoneham, MA) and the host Abington Green Wave (Abington, MA), observed Stoneham's football squad thwart Abington by a tally of 22-14.

The Spartans now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bellingham for a non-league contest on Friday, November 10. Stoneham will play a Blackhawks squad coming off a 28-21 non-league win over Maynard (Maynard, MA). The Blackhawks record now stands at 6-3.
