Florida High School Football - East Ridge tops Crystal River

In Friday's non-league game, the East Ridge Knights (Clermont, FL) football team knocked off the visiting Crystal River Pirates (Crystal River, FL), by a final score of 28-12.

The Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL). The Hawks come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Lake Minneola toppled Wekiva (Apopka, FL), 34-21, in a non-league game.

The Pirates now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Windermere Prep for a non-league game on Friday, September 15. Crystal River will battle a Lakers team coming off a 28-0 non-league loss to Orlando Christian Prep (Orlando, FL). The Lakers record now stands at 0-2.
