West Virginia High School Football - Nitro overwhelms Poca

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) and the visiting Poca The Dots (Poca, WV), observed Nitro's football squad bounce Poca by a tally of 56-6.

The Wildcats now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to St. Albans for a Mountain State contest on Friday, September 1. Nitro will play a Red Dragons squad coming off a 56-0 league loss to Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Red Dragons record now stands at 0-1.

Coming up next, the The Dots play the Chapmanville Regional Tigers (Chapmanville, WV) in a Cardinal contest, on Friday, September 1. Poca will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 28-7 league win over Sissonville (Charleston, WV).
