The Vincent Memorial Scots held off the host Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets football team by a count of 28-21 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Vincent Memorial upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Scots host Calipatria (Calipatria, CA) to encounter the Hornets in a Desert outing on Friday, October 13. The Hornets go into the outing with a record of 3-3.

With the loss, Palo Verde Valley moves to 2-5 on the season. The Yellow jackets travel to Calipatria (Calipatria, CA) to encounter the Hornets in a Desert outing on Friday, October 6. The Hornets go into the outing with a record of 3-3. Calipatria lost 14-7 in their recent non-league outing against Clairemont (San Diego, CA)
