Temple Wildcats (Temple, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Hutto Hippos (Hutto, TX), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats confront the University Trojans (Waco, TX) in a 5A Region 3 District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, February 17. Temple will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Waco (Waco, TX).

The Hippos now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elgin for a 5A Region 3 District 17 challenge on Tuesday, February 17.
