April 19, 2018: DeKalb, IL 60115 In Thursday's non-league battle, the host DeKalb Barbs soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Geneseo Maple Leafs.
The Barbs (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Kaneland (Maple Park, IL). The Knights come into the Northern Illinois Big 12 battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Kaneland nudged Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
The Maple Leafs (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sycamore (Sycamore, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 10-0 record. In their last battle, Sycamore nudged Antioch (Antioch, IL), 5-2, in a non-league battle.
