Utah High School Basketball - Dixie tops Hurricane
February 8, 2019: St. George, UT 84770 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Dixie Flyers (St. George, UT) and the visiting Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT), saw Dixie's basketball squad knock off Hurricane by a tally of 64-52.
With the victory, Dixie improves its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Desert Hills (St. George, UT) to play the Thunder in a 4A Region 9 challenge on Wednesday, February 13. The Thunder come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. Desert Hills lost 61-49 in their recent league challenge against Snow Canyon (St. George, UT)
Next up, the Tigers play the Pine View Panthers (St. George, UT) in a 4A Region 9 challenge, on Wednesday, February 13. Hurricane will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 46-44 league loss to Canyon View (Cedar City, UT).
