Brownstown Central Braves (Brownstown, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host North Harrison Cougars (Ramsey, IN), 51-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Brownstown Central upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Braves travel to Mitchell (Mitchell, IN) to clash with the Bluejackets in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 15. The Bluejackets go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Mitchell won 71-45 in their recent non-league bout against North Knox (Bicknell, IN)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the South Spencer Rebels (Rockport, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 28. North Harrison will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
