Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) and the visiting Issaquah Eagles (Issaquah, WA), saw Mercer Island's basketball squad overcome Issaquah by a tally of 70-57.

With the victory, Mercer Island improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Islanders host Eastlake (Sammamish, WA) to confront the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 1. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Mt. Rainier Rams (Des Moines, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 1. Issaquah will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 69-44 non-league win over Highline (Burien, WA).
