In Saturday's league outing, the Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves (Eagle Butte, SD) basketball squad edged the visiting Stanley County Buffalos (Fort Pierre, SD), by a margin of 73-72.

The Braves (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Tigers go into the A Region 6 outing with a 8-8 record. In their last outing, Mobridge-Pollock held off Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD), 62-45, in a league outing.

The Buffalos now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Todd County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 29. Stanley County will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 65-50 non-league win over McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD). The Falcons record now stands at 9-5.
