Florence Gophers (Florence, AZ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Santa Cruz Valley Dust Devils (Eloy, AZ), 71-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Florence upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Gophers travel to Safford (Safford, AZ) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A South bout on Thursday, November 29. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Safford won 65-62 in their recent non-league bout against Thatcher (Thatcher, AZ)

Next up, the Dust Devils play the Santa Rita Eagles (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 29. Santa Cruz Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 79-11 non-league loss to The Gregory School (Tucson, AZ).
