Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Garner Magnet Trojans (Garner, NC) and the host Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), saw Garner Magnet's basketball team achieve victory over Middle Creek by a tally of 73-65.

The Trojans now possess a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kinston for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 19. Garner Magnet will confront a Vikings team coming off a 101-74 league win over Washington (Washington, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 11-4.
