Texas High School Basketball - Tascosa tops Estacado
December 14, 2018: Amarillo, TX 79102 Tascosa Rebels (Amarillo, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX), 65-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Tascosa upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Rebels host Amarillo (Amarillo, TX) to play the Sandies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 18. The Sandies come into the bout with a record of 3-11. Amarillo lost 72-60 in their recent league bout against Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX)
Next up, the Matadors play the Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 15. Estacado will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 81-63 non-league loss to Tulia (Tulia, TX).
