The Eastern Comets tipped the host Eastbrook Panthers basketball team by a final score of 53-52 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Comets face the Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland game, on Friday, December 7. Eastern will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 54-47 league loss to Taylor (Kokomo, IN).

With the defeat, Eastbrook moves to 0-1 on the year. The Panthers host Southern Wells (Poneto, IN) to face the Raiders in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 4. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 2-2. Southern Wells lost 63-40 in their recent league game against Adams Central (Monroe, IN)
