Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Portage holds off Windber

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) and the visiting Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA), saw Portage's basketball squad hold off Windber by a tally of 41-40.

With the victory, Portage improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA) to confront the Vikings in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern challenge on Monday, February 11. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Blacklick Valley won 59-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Purchase Line (Commodore, PA)

Next up, the Ramblers confront the Conemaugh Township Indians (Davidsville, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern challenge, on Friday, February 8.
