Arkansas High School Basketball - Fayetteville holds off Rogers
February 5, 2019: Fayetteville, AR 72701 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Fayetteville Bulldogs (Fayetteville, AR) and the visiting Rogers Mountaineers (Rogers, AR), saw Fayetteville's basketball squad hold off Rogers by a tally of 61-58.
With the victory, Fayetteville improves its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Van Buren (Van Buren, AR) to confront the Pointers in a 6A West challenge on Friday, February 8. The Pointers come into the challenge with a record of 5-16. Van Buren lost 59-55 in their recent league challenge against Bentonville (Bentonville, AR)
Next up, the Mountaineers confront the Bentonville West Wolverines (Centerton, AR) in a 6A West challenge, on Friday, February 8. Rogers will attempt to improve on its 15-5 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 8-14 record after their 55-39 league win over Springdale (Springdale, AR).
