The University Wildcats topped the host Verdugo Hills Dons basketball team by a final score of 62-51 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Van Nuys Wolves (Van Nuys, CA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 3. University will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Wolves enter the game with a 7-8 record after their 64-63 non-league win over Cleveland (Reseda, CA).
