California High School Basketball - Academia Avance nips ESAT
January 10, 2019: Los Angeles, CA 90042 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Academia Avance Guerreros Jaguares (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting ESAT Grizzlies (Los Angeles, CA), saw Academia Avance's basketball squad hold off ESAT by a tally of 47-45.
With the victory, Academia Avance improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Guerreros Jaguares travel to Collins Family (Huntington Park, CA) to play the Jaguars in a Eastside challenge on Tuesday, January 15. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Collins Family won 71-27 in their recent league challenge against Los Angeles International Charter (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Grizzlies play the CALS Early College Falcons (Los Angeles, CA) in a Eastside challenge, on Tuesday, January 15. ESAT will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 13-8 record after their 61-40 league win over University Prep Value (Los Angeles, CA).
