Maryland High School Basketball - St. James nipped by Georgetown Day
February 15, 2019: Hagerstown, MD 21740 The Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers tipped the host St. James Saints basketball team by a final score of 62-60 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Mighty Hoppers face the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) in a Mid-Atlantic game, on Wednesday, February 20. Georgetown Day will attempt to move on its 7-17 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 16-8 record after their 58-33 league loss to Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC).
With the defeat, St. James moves to 3-16 on the year. The Saints travel to Potomac School (McLean, VA) to face the Panthers in a VISAA Division 1 game on Tuesday, February 19. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 14-11. Potomac School lost 67-60 in their recent league game against Flint Hill (Oakton, VA)
