In Friday's non-league match, the host Harding County Ranchers basketball team scored a tight 58-53 triumph over the Edgemont Moguls.

In their next game, the Ranchers face the Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] Bulldogs (Bowman, ND) in a non-league match, on Thursday, January 3. Harding County will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 62-60 league loss to Hazen (Hazen, ND).
