Nebraska High School Basketball - Stanton fells Plainview
January 8, 2019: Plainview, NE 68769 Stanton Mustangs (Stanton, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Plainview Pirates (Plainview, NE), 55-43 in a league bout.
With the win, Stanton upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Mustangs host Boone Central/Newman Grove (Albion, NE) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, January 11. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Boone Central/Newman Grove lost 61-51 in their recent non-league bout against Wayne (Wayne, NE)
Next up, the Pirates clash with the Bloomfield Bees (Bloomfield, NE) in a D1 District 5 bout, on Friday, January 11. Plainview will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Bees go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 63-40 non-league win over Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE).
