California High School Basketball - Pioneer Valley tops Santa Maria
November 27, 2018: Santa Maria, CA 93454 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Pioneer Valley Panthers (Santa Maria, CA) and the visiting Santa Maria Saints (Santa Maria, CA), saw Pioneer Valley's basketball squad knock off Santa Maria by a tally of 74-58.
With the victory, Pioneer Valley improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 29. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Orcutt Academy won 68-25 in their recent non-league challenge against San Luis Obispo Classical Academy (San Luis Obispo, CA)
Next up, the Saints play the Garces Memorial Rams (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 29. Santa Maria will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 71-50 non-league win over Clovis (Clovis, CA).
