In Saturday's non-league outing, the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets (Roanoke Rapids, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Riverside Knights (Williamston, NC), by a margin of 67-42.

The Yellowjackets (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC). The Warriors go into the Northern Carolina 1A/2A outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, J.F. Webb smashed Bunn (Bunn, NC), 74-69, in a league outing.
