Maryland High School Basketball - Westlake trounced by North Point
January 4, 2019: Waldorf, MD 20603 In Friday's league match, the host North Point Eagles basketball team scored a decisive 87-65 triumph over the Westlake Wolverines.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) in a Southern Maryland match, on Wednesday, January 9. North Point will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 1-7 record after their 65-51 league loss to Lackey (Indian Head, MD).
With the defeat, Westlake moves to 6-2 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Chopticon (Morganza, MD) to meet the Braves in a Southern Maryland match on Wednesday, January 9. The Braves enter the match with a record of 2-4.
