December 29, 2011: Oregon, OH 43616 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Evergreen Vikings (Metamora, OH) and the host Cardinal Stritch Cardinals (Oregon, OH), saw Evergreen's basketball squad trounce Cardinal Stritch by a score of 86-42.
With the victory, Evergreen improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Hilltop (West Unity, OH) to play the Cadets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Cadets come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Hilltop lost 47-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Ayersville (Defiance, OH)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Maumee Valley Country Day Hawks (Toledo, OH) in a Toledo Area challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Cardinal Stritch will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 50-13 league loss to Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH).
