Illinois High School Basketball - Niles West holds off Stevenson
December 21, 2011: Skokie, IL 60077 Niles West Wolves (Skokie, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL), 45-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Niles West upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Proviso East (Maywood, IL) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 10-2. Proviso East won 49-47 in their recent non-league bout against Barrington (Barrington, IL)
Next up, the Patriots play the Barrington Broncos/Fillies (Barrington, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Stevenson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Broncos/Fillies come into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 49-47 non-league loss to Proviso East (Maywood, IL).
