Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Staley Falcons (Kansas City, MO) and the visiting Platte County Pirates (Platte City, MO), saw Staley's basketball squad trounce Platte County by a count of 68-31.

With the victory, Staley upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Aquinas (Overland Park, KS) to play the Saints in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Saints come into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Aquinas lost 50-37 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, KS)

Next up, the Pirates play the Holton Wildcats (Holton, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Platte County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 56-26 league win over Santa Fe Trail (Carbondale, KS).
