Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME) and the visiting Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME), saw Maine Central Institute's basketball squad hold off Mount View by a score of 39-32.

With the victory, Maine Central Institute improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Nokomis (Newport, ME) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Nokomis won 57-27 in their recent league challenge against Waterville (Waterville, ME)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Waterville Panthers (Waterville, ME) in a B East challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Mount View will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 57-27 league loss to Nokomis (Newport, ME).
