Happy Cowboys (Happy, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Kress Kangaroos (Kress, TX), 50-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Happy upgrades its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Hart (Hart, TX) to play the Longhorns in a 1A-2 Region I District 2 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Longhorns come into the bout with a record of 3-14.
