California High School Basketball - Stockdale overwhelms Independence

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Stockdale Mustangs (Bakersfield, CA) and the visiting Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA), saw Stockdale's basketball squad trounce Independence by a score of 68-46.

With the victory, Stockdale improves its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Centennial (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Golden Hawks in a Southwest Yosemite challenge on Friday, February 3. The Golden Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 15-7. Centennial won 56-47 in their recent league challenge against Frontier (Bakersfield, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Bakersfield Drillers (Bakersfield, CA) in a Southwest Yosemite challenge, on Friday, February 3. Independence will attempt to improve on its 18-4 season record. The Drillers come into the challenge with a 11-12 record after their 60-42 league loss to Liberty (Bakersfield, CA).
