In Friday's non-league contest, the Pacific Ridge Firebird (Carlsbad, CA) lacrosse squad edged the host Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA), by a count of 11-10.

Coming up next, the Firebird confront the Bishop's Knights (La Jolla, CA) in a Coastal contest, on Tuesday, April 28. Pacific Ridge will attempt to advance on its 10-2 season record. The Knights come into the contest with a 6-7 record after their 12-3 non-league loss to Coronado (Coronado, CA).

The Wolverines now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Del Norte for a Valley contest on Tuesday, April 28. Westview will confront a Nighthawks squad coming off a 8-2 league loss to Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 3-7.
