Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) supporters were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC), 7-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cowboys battle the Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 6. Southwest Guilford will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record. The Whirlies go into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC).

The Mustangs now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ragsdale for a Piedmont Triad 4A challenge on Thursday, October 6. Parkland will battle a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to High Point Central (High Point, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 5-8.
