Texas High School Baseball - Westlake loses to Bridge City
March 16, 2010: Bridge City, TX 77611 The Bridge City Cardinals crushed the visiting Westlake Rams baseball team by a count of 11-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Baytown Christian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 23. Bridge City will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Northeast Christian (Kingwood, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-6.
Next, the Rams face the Houston Broncos (Lake Charles, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 18. Westlake will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Broncos enter the bout with a 6-8 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Breaux Bridge (Breaux Bridge, LA).
