Maryland High School Baseball - Seneca Valley loses to Quince Orchard
April 17, 2010: Gaithersburg, MD 20878 The Quince Orchard Cougars crushed the visiting Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles baseball team by a tally of 11-1 in Saturday's league bout.
The Cougars now hold a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockville for a Montgomery County 3A/2A bout on Tuesday, April 20. Quince Orchard will face a Rams team coming off a 14-4 league win over Wheaton (Silver Spring, MD). The Rams record now stands at 5-4.
Next, the Screamin' Eagles face the Watkins Mill Wolverines (Gaithersburg, MD) in a Montgomery County 3A/2A bout, on Tuesday, April 20. Seneca Valley will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Wolverines enter the bout with a 1-6 record after their 11-1 league win over Poolesville (Poolesville, MD).
