The Plano Wildcats thwarted the visiting Tyler Lions football team by a count of 35-17 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Plano upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to MacArthur (Irving, TX) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 3. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 0-1. MacArthur lost 49-28 in their recent non-league outing against Garland (Garland, TX)

With the loss, Tyler moves to 0-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Union Hill (Gilmer, TX) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Friday, September 4. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Union Hill lost 73-37 in their recent non-league outing against Lucas Christian Academy (Lucas, TX)
