October 16, 2015: New Castle, PA 16101 The Ambridge Bridgers thwarted the host New Castle Hurricanes football team by a count of 23-8 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Ambridge upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Bridgers host Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA) to encounter the Cougars in a WPIAL AAA Parkway outing on Friday, October 23. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 0-7. Blackhawk lost 31-7 in their recent league outing against Montour (McKees Rocks, PA)
With the loss, New Castle moves to 3-4 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA) to encounter the Colts in a WPIAL AAA Parkway outing on Friday, October 23. The Colts go into the outing with a record of 4-3. Chartiers Valley lost 49-7 in their recent league outing against Central Valley (Monaca, PA)
