In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys football squad scored a close 42-39 victory over the Watauga Pioneers.

In their next game, the Cowboys clash with the Dudley Panthers (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 20. Southwest Guilford will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 11-1 record after their 54-0 non-league win over McDowell (Marion, NC).
